Highlights of Version 26.1
SMART SCIM Connect – Connect New Applications in Minutes
With the new SMART SCIM Connect, Garancy significantly simplifies the integration of modern cloud applications. The solution enables seamless connectivity to SCIM 2.0-based cloud providers and provides immediate compatibility with platforms such as AWS, Salesforce, Atlassian, OpenAI, Anthropic, and many other cloud services.
While SCIM has become the industry standard for exchanging identity information, real-world implementations often vary between providers. As a result, integrating new applications frequently requires additional configuration and customization. SMART SCIM Connect automatically detects the objects, attributes, and resource types supported by the target system, reducing manual configuration to an absolute minimum.
Key Benefits
Faster integration of new applications
Immediate support for SCIM 2.0-compliant cloud providers
Flexible extension of attributes and resource types
Future-proof architecture for integrating new SCIM providers
Organizations benefit from a low-code approach that significantly accelerates and simplifies the integration of new systems. This reduces implementation effort, conserves valuable resources, and enables faster provisioning of applications for business users.

Greater Visibility Through Entra Service Principal Integration
Technical accounts play a critical role in hybrid and cloud-based IT environments and often possess extensive privileges. However, compared to user identities, they frequently receive less attention during governance, audit, and compliance processes. This lack of visibility increases the risk that privileged access remains undetected or insufficiently controlled.
Garancy automatically synchronizes Microsoft Entra Service Principals as technical identities within the IGA platform, providing centralized visibility and governance. In addition, access rights can be assigned to and managed for these accounts, bringing an often overlooked area of the cloud infrastructure under centralized identity governance.
This gives organizations greater transparency into privileged technical identities, helps reduce compliance risks, and establishes a stronger foundation for security, accountability, and auditability across modern IT environments.
More Capabilities Out of the Box
While many IAM solutions require custom development even for basic use cases, Garancy supports a wide range of common IAM requirements out of the box.
Version 26.1 expands the available user attributes to approximately 50 standard attributes, allowing even more common IAM scenarios to be implemented without customization efforts.
Organizations benefit from a modular approach that combines a high level of standardization with the flexibility to extend functionality through additional custom attributes. This enables more efficient implementation of IAM requirements, reduces configuration effort, and simplifies long-term maintenance and future upgrades.
